This is a stunning image of the Migrant Mother and her baby. Many know the woman in the photograph as the Migrant Mother; however, her real name was Florence Owens. She became known as the face of the Great Depression as a result of her picture being published by Dorothea Lange. Thanks to her photographs, we can better understand the emotions of the Great Depression. |
