What does it mean to be an American? Well to me it means freedom. Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Religion, Freedom of Press, and Freedom of Assembly. With all of these things we are free to do what we want with little restriction. I love the fact of being able to think and do things on my own. We do not have people telling us what we are going to eat and what we are going to do in order to stay in the country. What does it mean to be an American to you? This flag has withstood the test of time from the American Revolution to now. The flag represents freedom as well. The flag is a beautiful symbol of our country. When I see a flag my heart sinks and I feel the freedom that it represents immediately. I love my country dearly and wouldn't change a thing about it. I hope all of you feel the same. |
