Tobacco Fields

This picture was taken in 1944. These guys are stripping tobacco from the fields. Working in the tobacco fields was a very popular job. They are using the donkeys and the wagon to help them carry the tobacco. Notice the guy on the wagon is white and the other guy is African American.
