Alaska

This is a picture of the office and residence of Alaska's governor. This picture was taken in 1909 in Juneau, Alaska which is also the capitol of Alaska. Alaska was admitted to statehood on January 3, 1959. The state bird of Alaska is the Willow Ptarmigan. Alaska's state flower is the Forget Me Not flower and the tree is the Sitka Spruce. Alaska's Flag is the state song for Alaska and the motto is "North to the future.". Alaska's nickname is "The Last Frontier."
