This is a picture of an African-American family traveling in a wagon to town on an early Saturday afternoon in Greene County, Georgia. The women are nicely dressed, so it seems they might be traveling to church or a social gathering. It looks like it is spring or early summer because the trees are a bright green and the sky is clear and vibrant blue.
