This picture is of a backyard of a tenant's home at the Marcella Plantation, Mileston, Mississippi. The two children seem to be playing marbles or talking. The sky is clear and blue, it is probably morning. The house is run down and the window is broken with the curtain hanging outside. It's possible that the kids are waiting for the clothes to dry. |
