Workers Going Home

This picture is of three workers going home after spending a long and hard day out in the fields. They have been chopping down cotton on a farm in Greene County, Georgia in June of 1941. The sky has been overcastted by clouds all day, probably giving the workers a little relief from the harsh sun. Working in the fields has always been a hard and tough way to make a living.
