America, the place where freedom is regarded as most important. A place where the voice of the little people is never seen as "no big deal". Americans, the one group of people willing to fight for other countries freedom. A passionate group of people loving the freedom, power, and choices offered only in America.

I truly enjoy the freedoms I have here in America. I have the freedom to voice my opinions, choose the church I go to, and have the profession of my choice. It isn't just me with these freedoms, all Americans get to enjoy them! The pictures on this site are intended to show the passion of the American people during the Great Depression. Personally, seeing photographs from this time period brings me great joy. It fills me with pride to see how Americans stuck together in hard times, and gives me hope that the unity seen in these images will be present for any difficult times to come!
