Kids Going Home

This is a great picture of a group of African American kids on their way home from a hard days work.  The picture was taken in 1939 at the Marcella Plantation in Milestone,  Mississippi.  This picture is a great example of how a person was never to young to go to work in the fields, and that everyone had to pull their own weight.
