Migrant Mother and her children

The Migrant mother was in search for work. Work was scarce  during the Great Depression. Families like this one were often left homeless and without jobs. Even though Florence Owens couldn't provide a steady income, she always made sure her children had food for the day. "We never had a lot, but she always made sure we had something." said her daughter Katherine.
